A view of the south west corner of the site. The south west of the site

In the south west corner of the site there should have been signs of a level (a sloping entrance to a mine), an incline up which trucks of ore would have been pulled, a shaft and an engine house. A pile of stone blocks may have been the engine house though it seems that the building had been pulled down and the blocks used to give shelter to sheep. There was an indication of a ridge which may have been the incline but the shaft and level could not be determined with certainty.
